Don't run to the Apple Store just yet. Sure, the iPhone 5S has been out for a little while now, but it's still pretty difficult to buy one.

Fortunately, there's a new site called iPhone Check that scours the inventories of your local Apple Stores and figures out where you can buy the exact iPhone 5S you're looking for. All you have to do is punch in your zip code, cell phone company and preferred iPhone 5S color, and you'll see which (if any) stores have what you're looking for in stock. You'll have to be prepared to be patient, since Apple sold out of its first supply of top-line phones in just two days.

After playing around with the tool for just a few minutes, you'll see that your chances of finding a gold iPhone 5S are slim at this point. This shouldn't come as a surprise, since some people waited in line for weeks outside of Apple stores and still couldn't get their hands on a gold-colored model. The \"space gray\" 5S seems to be the easiest one to find right now.
